Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Project Manager to oversee and manage large-scale construction projects from conception to completion.
The ideal candidate must be a Registered Civil Engineer with a minimum of 15 years' experience, including extensive hands-on experience managing construction projects.
The Project Manager will be responsible for ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and in compliance with quality and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and manage end-to-end construction projects (planning, execution, monitoring, and closure).
Develop project plans, timelines, budgets, and resource allocation strategies.
Coordinate contractors, consultants, site engineers, and subcontractors.
Monitor project progress and prepare periodic reports for management.
Ensure strict compliance with regulatory requirements, building codes, and safety standards.
Manage project risks, resolve issues, and implement mitigation strategies.
Oversee procurement of materials and equipment.
Ensure quality control and adherence to project specifications.
Conduct site inspections and stakeholder meetings.
Manage project financials, including cost control and budget tracking.
Requirements
Registered Civil Engineer (COREN registration required).
Minimum of 15 years' post-qualification experience.
Proven experience serving as a Project Manager on major construction projects.
Strong knowledge of construction methodologies, materials, and regulations.
Excellent leadership, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
Strong financial and budget management capabilities.
Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., MS Project, Primavera, etc.).
Strong communication and reporting skills.
