Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to oversee real estate construction projects from inception to completion, ensuring delivery within approved scope, budget, timelines, and regulatory standards.
Job Summary
The Project Manager will manage multiple construction projects, coordinate site activities, supervise teams, liaise with clients and consultants, and ensure compliance with approved designs, safety standards, and statutory government regulations.
Key Responsibilities
Lead day-to-day site supervision for multiple projects
Prepare and review project budgets, BOQs, and material forecasts
Develop construction schedules and ensure proper sequencing.
Manage contractors across multiple trades
Coordinate architects, engineers, and consultants for drawings, approvals, and site compliance
Implement and enforce quality standards and safety guidelines
Manage procurement, material logistics, and cost control
Provide weekly progress reports, including photos, timelines, and budget variance
Evaluate vendor performance and maintain vendor documentation
Mentor site engineers and site attendants to ensure discipline and compliance
Supervise daily project activities including cash flow, reporting, and resource allocation
Lead project meetings and circulate minutes to stakeholders
Conduct regular site inspections and resolve design issues promptly
Identify project risks and implement mitigation strategies
Provide regular updates to clients on progress and budget performance
Perform any other duties assigned by the line manager
Requirements & Qualifications
First degree in Civil Engineering/Architecture/Building Technology with a minimum of 10 years' experience in construction supervision or project management
Ability to read drawings and interpret structural/architectural details
Proven leadership and multitasking skills
Ability to manage multiple projects and teams effectively
Excellent communication, coordination, and reporting skills
Professional certification (PMP or equivalent) is an added advantage
