The Sales & Partnerships Officer will be responsible for driving business growth by identifying new business opportunities, building strategic relationships, and converting prospects into long-term clients. The role requires proactive prospecting, consultative selling, and relationship management to increase Seedar Group's corporate client base.

The successful candidate will:


Identify, qualify, and pursue new business opportunities across corporate organizations, startups, NGOs, and event organizers.
Build and maintain a healthy sales pipeline using outbound prospecting, referrals, networking, LinkedIn, email, and cold calling.
Schedule and lead meetings with decision-makers including CEOs, Founders, Marketing Directors, Communications Managers, and Business Leaders.
Understand client communication challenges and recommend appropriate Seedar Group solutions.
Prepare proposals, quotations, and presentations in collaboration with the strategy team.
Negotiate commercial terms and close new business deals.
Build long-term relationships with clients to encourage repeat business and referrals.
Identify partnership opportunities with industry associations, event organizers, chambers of commerce, and ecosystem partners.
Maintain accurate CRM records, sales forecasts, and weekly activity reports.
Work closely with the PR and account management teams to ensure smooth client onboarding and excellent service delivery.
Represent Seedar Group professionally at networking events, conferences, and client meetings when required.


Requirements

We're looking for someone who possesses:


Minimum of 2 years' experience in B2B sales, business development, partnership management, or corporate account management.
Previous experience selling services such as PR, marketing, advertising, branding, media, technology, consulting, or other professional services is highly preferred.
Demonstrated success in prospecting, generating leads, and closing corporate sales.
Strong negotiation, presentation, and relationship management skills.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to confidently engage senior executives and business leaders.
Strong understanding of sales pipelines, CRM systems, and sales reporting.
Self-motivated, highly organized, and capable of working with minimal supervision.
Comfortable working remotely while maintaining high productivity.
Strong problem-solving and consultative selling abilities.
Must reside in Lagos and be available for physical meetings when required.


Preferred Qualifications


Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Mass Communication, Public Relations, or a related field.
Existing network within corporate Nigeria is an added advantage.
Experience using CRM tools such as HubSpot, Zoho CRM, Pipedrive, or similar platforms is an advantage.
Knowledge of PR, branding, media relations, digital marketing, or strategic communications will be an added advantage.
