Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and quality-focused Quality Control Officer to monitor production processes and ensure that feed products consistently meet the company's quality standards and regulatory requirements.
The ideal candidate must have hands-on experience in Feed Mill operations and possess strong knowledge of in-process quality inspection, sampling techniques, and quality control procedures. Candidates must have previous Feed Mill experience.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct in-process quality inspections throughout the feed production process.
Collect and test raw materials, work-in-progress, and finished feed products according to established quality standards.
Monitor production processes to ensure compliance with quality specifications and operating procedures.
Identify quality deviations and immediately report non-conforming products or production issues.
Carry out routine quality checks on feed ingredients, mash, pellets, and finished products.
Record inspection results accurately and prepare quality control reports.
Ensure production complies with food safety, quality assurance, and regulatory requirements.
Support investigations into quality complaints and recommend corrective actions.
Requirements
Minimum of SSCE qualification.
2 - 3 years of proven experience in Quality Control/In-Process Testing within a Feed Mill is mandatory.
Good understanding of feed manufacturing processes.
Knowledge of feed ingredients, quality standards, and production procedures.
Ability to identify quality defects and recommend corrective actions.
Good record-keeping and reporting skills.
Strong attention to detail and ability to work with minimal supervision.
Good communication and teamwork skills.
Must be willing to work shifts when required.
Must be resident in Ibadan or willing to relocate.
