Key Responsibilities
Carry out a complete range of radiographic examinations (plain X-rays) while adhering to established protocols and radiation safety standards.
Perform and independently carry out high-quality sonographic scans (abdominal, pelvic, obstetric, vascular, small parts, and other requested studies).
Prepare patients, clearly explain procedures, and guarantee maximum comfort and cooperation during examinations.
Manage and maintain imaging equipment to the highest standards, including daily quality control checks.
Precisely record patient data, imaging findings, and technical parameters in the radiology information system.
Work closely with radiologists, physicians, and other healthcare professionals to provide integrated patient care.
Strictly comply with infection control, radiation protection, and ethical standards at all times.
Contribute to the continuous improvement of imaging services and take part in departmental training when required.
Requirements:
We are intentionally seeking professionals who satisfy the following criteria:
Bachelor's Degree (B.Sc or equivalent) in Radiography from a reputable institution.
Full registration and current practising licence with the Radiographers Registration Board of Nigeria (RRBN).
Demonstrated post-qualification experience in general radiography plus proven competence and hands-on experience in diagnostic ultrasound/sonography.
Excellent technical skills in both modalities with a track record of producing clear, diagnostic-quality images.
Strong interpersonal skills, empathy, and the ability to handle patients of all ages with professionalism.
Ability to work independently, manage workload efficiently, and maintain composure under pressure.
Clean professional record and a genuine commitment to ethical practice and continuous professional development.
