Qualifications, Skills and Experience
Bachelor's Degree in Business, International Trade, Marketing, or related field
MBA or postgraduate qualification preferred
Minimum 5+ years of senior experience in export sales, international BD, or regional sales leadership
Experience in paints, coatings, construction materials, or manufacturing industries preferred
Proven track record in developing and managing international distributor networks
Strong commercial, negotiation, and market expansion capabilities
Key Responsibilities
Export Market Strategy: Develop and execute export strategies, identify high-growth markets, and analyze demand, competition, and regulatory requirements across target regions.
International Business Development: Identify and onboard distributors and partners, establish strong B2B relationships, and lead negotiations for distribution agreements and market entry.
Sales & Revenue Growth: Drive export sales growth across decorative, industrial, and automotive product lines while achieving revenue and profitability targets.
Distributor Network Management: Build and manage distributor networks, monitor performance, and provide commercial, product, and marketing support to drive growth.
Export Operations & Compliance: Oversee export logistics, documentation, and compliance with international trade regulations while ensuring smooth coordination with supply chain teams.
Brand Development in International Markets: Drive brand visibility through trade shows, partnerships, and localized marketing initiatives across export markets.
Market Intelligence & Competitive Analysis: Track market trends, competitor activity, and pricing to identify opportunities and support strategic decision-making.
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
Export Achieve 20-30% annual growth in export sales.
Enter 2-3 new regional markets annually.
Add 5-8 new strategic distributors within the first two years.
