Robotic Specialist, Tshwane at Sheldon Recruitment

We are seeking a Robotic Specialist for a permanent vacancy based in Tshwane, Gauteng


Applicants are required to meet the following criteria:


NQF 6 & Qualified Electrician/ Millwright/ Mechatronics/Electrical/Electronics/Instrumentation Engineering
Minimum 5 years' experience as a Robot Technician within an Automotive environment
Extensive working knowledge of ABB and Kuka Robots.


Skills required -


Technical techniques; fault finding, robot repair and maintenance (KUKA and ABB)
Manufacturing processes BMW V8
Basic understanding of quality systems
Fault finding and maintenance presses
Problem solving & good communication
Able to read electronic drawings


The successful applicant would be responsible for, but not limited to:


Repair and maintain robots to ensure customer and company quality standards are met
Do fault finding and preventative maintenance as per maintenance schedule and according to job cards and relevant work instruction
Compile feedback on time sheets to ensure accurate repair data
Ensure that company procedures, works instructions and quality systems are adhered to at all times
Participate actively in the departmental M2S as per company requirement
Ensure that work practises comply with the company SHEQ procedures and works instructions
Lead on-site implementation of process changes
