Job Description
For the safe and efficient operation of RTG cranes to support lifting, loading, offloading, positioning, and movement of heavy cargo, equipment, and materials within the terminal.
The role ensures compliance with safety regulations and operational procedures to support uninterrupted terminal operations
Key Duties and Responsibilities
Operate RTG cranes to lift, move, position, and place containers, cargo, and heavy equipment as assigned
Strictly adhere to safety procedures, lifting standards, and load charts
Ensure safe working areas are maintained during RTG crane operations.
Record daily operational logs and report abnormalities, breakdowns, or near misses
Execute assigned jobs within agreed timelines while minimizing idle time and rework
Carry other related tasks assigned by the line manager
Minimum Educational Qualifications / Certifications / Years of Experience
Minimum of a BSc or HND from a reputable university.
Minimum of 2 years of experience as an RTG operator
A high level of physical agility, including the ability to bend, climb, and to work in outdoor environments.
Willingness to learn and follow instructions.
Good communication and teamwork skills.
Must be medically fit for the role.
