Safety, Security, Health and Environment (SSHE) Specialist I

Job Description We are seeking a competent and experienced SSHE Specialist I to support site-level safety, security, health and environmental compliance across operations and project activities. Key Responsibilities Monitor SSHE, regulatory, Operational Integrity (OI) and Process Safety Management (PSM) compliance. Support permit reviews, regulatory liaison and compliance assessments. Coordinate incident investigations, risk assessments and emergency response drills. Track corrective actions, inspections and remediation activities. Review SSHE reports and deliver safety training, orientations and toolbox meetings. Collaborate with operations teams, contractors and regulatory agencies to improve safety performance. Requirements College-level education or equivalent; SSHE-related qualifications are advantageous. Relevant safety experience, including some oil and gas industry exposure. Knowledge of safety regulations, environmental compliance, security and risk management. Strong analytical, communication and problem-solving skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ability to work independently.
