Sales Clerk

About the Role The Sales Clerk is responsible for coordinating sales orders for products and building strong customer relationships by providing efficient administrative and operational support for the sales function. This role ensures accurate processing of customer orders, timely communication with customers, and effective coordination between sales, production, warehouse, and dispatch teams to ensure seamless order fulfillment. Primary Duties & Responsibilities Generate and process manual and electronic Sales Orders accurately. Provide prompt and professional customer service, responding to inquiries and requests. Maintain organized filing of invoices, sales records, and customer documents. Update and maintain customer information, account details, and order records. Coordinate sales orders from receipt through delivery to ensure timely fulfillment. Build and maintain positive customer relationships to support retention and growth. Liaise with Sales, Production, Warehouse, and Dispatch teams to ensure smooth order processing. Maintain records of special orders and customer-specific requirements. Perform other duties as assigned by management. Qualifications & Requirements Minimum of OND/HND/Bachelor's Degree in business administration, Marketing, Accounting, or a related field. 4 years' experience in sales administration, customer service, or order processing. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel and Word. Experience with ERP systems or sales order processing software is an added advantage. Strong communication and customer service skills. Good organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to meet deadlines.
