The Sales Executive is responsible for driving sales growth by identifying new business opportunities, building and maintaining strong customer relationships, and achieving revenue targets. The role involves understanding customer needs, presenting products or services effectively, and closing sales while ensuring excellent customer experience.
Key Responsibilities
Identify and develop new sales opportunities through networking, cold calling, and referrals
Promote and sell company products/services to prospective and existing customers
Build and maintain strong, long-term client relationships
Prepare and deliver sales presentations, proposals, and quotations
Negotiate contracts and close sales deals in line with company policies
Achieve and exceed assigned sales targets and KPIs
Conduct market research to identify trends, competitors, and customer needs
Maintain accurate records of sales activities and customer interactions
Provide regular sales reports and forecasts to management
Collaborate with marketing and customer service teams to improve sales performance
Handle customer complaints professionally and ensure timely resolution
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Economics, or a related field (preferred)
Proven experience as a Sales Executive or similar sales role
Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills
Ability to meet sales targets and work under pressure
Excellent presentation and customer service skills
