KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Revenue Generation & Sales Performance
Achieve monthly, quarterly and annual sales targets.
Sell integrated advertising solutions across radio, digital, events and sponsorships to grow revenue.
Client acquisition and development
Identify and secure new business while growing existing client accounts.
Build and maintain strong relationships with key regional decision-makers.
Commercial Planning & Reporting
Maintain accurate CRM records, forecasts and pipeline reporting.
Conduct market research and provide competitor and category insights.
Compliance & Administration
Ensure all sales are contracted in line with company policies and procedures.
Adhere to credit approval processes and maintain accurate documentation.
Collaboration and internal Alignment
Work closely with internal teams including Programming, Marketing, Digital and Finance.
Participate in commercial planning sessions and team initiatives.
Training & Development
Attend training sessions, workshops and industry engagements.
Apply learning to improve sales effectiveness and performance.
Requirements
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
Diploma or Degree in Sales, Marketing, Business Management, Media Studies or related field preferred.
Relevant industry certifications or demonstrated sales success may be considered in lieu of formal qualifications.
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
Minimum 3 - 5 years sales experience, preferably in media, advertising, marketing or related industries.
Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets.
Strong understanding of radio, digital media and integrated advertising solutions.
Experience in prospecting, pipeline management and business development.
Excellent presentation, negotiation and relationship-building skills.
Understanding of audience research and media measurement tools.
Valid driver's licence and willingness to travel extensively within the region.
Fluency in English; Afrikaans and regional language proficiency advantageous.
