Key Responsibilities
Identify and capitalize on sales opportunities across construction, mining, infrastructure, energy, and large-scale agricultural projects.
Drive sales of heavy equipment, including excavators, loaders, bulldozers, graders, rollers, dump trucks, and cranes.
Establish and maintain strong customer relationships with contractors, developers, government agencies, and plant hire companies.
Recommend appropriate equipment models and specifications based on customer applications and project requirements.
Prepare and lead commercial proposals, tenders, and negotiations, including pricing, financing, and delivery terms.
Coordinate closely with service, parts, and logistics teams to ensure equipment delivery, aftersales support, and customer satisfaction.
Key Qualifications
Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Sales & Marketing, or a related field.
Experience in heavy equipment, construction machinery, or capital goods sales, with a proven track record selling to contractors, plant hire companies, or government projects.
Strong understanding of heavy construction and earth-moving equipment applications and the Kenyan construction industry, including procurement and tendering processes.
Excellent negotiation, persuasion, and deal-closing skills, with the ability to align technical solutions to customer requirements.
Outstanding communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with proficiency in planning, reporting, and CRM management.
Willingness to travel extensively across Kenya and work independently in remote or challenging project environments.
