Job Summary
The Sales Manager will be responsible for driving sales growth and market expansion for the company's dairy product portfolio including milk, powdered milk, yogurt, cheese, butter, and other dairy-based products. The role involves managing the sales team, strengthening distributor relationships, expanding retail presence, and ensuring consistent achievement of sales targets.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and implement sales strategies to increase market penetration for milk and other dairy products.
Manage and motivate the sales team to achieve monthly and annual sales targets.
Identify and onboard new distributors, wholesalers, and retail outlets.
Build and maintain strong relationships with supermarkets, distributors, and key accounts.
Monitor sales performance, market trends, and competitor activities within the dairy industry.
Ensure effective distribution and product availability across assigned territories.
Work closely with the marketing team to support promotions and product launches.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.
Minimum of 5 years sales experience, preferably in FMCG or dairy products (milk, yogurt, cheese, etc.).
Proven ability to meet and exceed sales targets.
Strong leadership, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
Good knowledge of distribution channels and retail networks.
