Job Summary


The Sales Manager will be responsible for driving revenue growth, expanding market share, and managing sales operations within the agro-allied sector.
The ideal candidate must possess strong industry knowledge (livestock, feed, hatchery, or related value chains), excellent leadership skills, and a proven track record in sales performance and customer relationship management.


Key Responsibilities


Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve company targets and expand customer base.
Identify new business opportunities within livestock farms, hatcheries, feed distributors, and agro-dealers.
Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with clients and key stakeholders.
Lead, supervise, and motivate the sales team to achieve individual and collective targets.
Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and pricing strategies to inform business decisions.
Coordinate with production and logistics teams to ensure timely delivery of products.
Prepare periodic sales reports, forecasts, and performance analysis.
Organize and participate in field visits, product demonstrations, and industry events.
Ensure proper documentation of sales activities and customer interactions.
Provide technical support and advisory services to customers where necessary.


Requirements / Qualifications


Bachelor's degree in any of the following or related fields:

Animal Science
Animal Nutrition
Veterinary Medicine
Agricultural Production or related discipline


Minimum of 5 - 8 years' experience in sales within an agro-allied industry.
Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
Strong understanding of livestock production, feed products, or hatchery operations.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to lead and manage a sales team effectively.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM tools.
Willingness to travel extensively for field operations.
