Key Responsibilities:
Relationship Management:
Develop and maintain strong, professional relationships with dealership staff, management, and key stakeholders to promote trust and mutual business growth.
Sales Execution:
Promote and sell insurance products (including motor, short-term, and value-added services) through dealership channels, achieving monthly and quarterly targets.
Client Visits & Field Work:
Conduct regular on-site visits to assigned dealerships to provide training, sales support, product updates, and performance reviews.
Training & Support:
Conduct onboarding and refresher training sessions for dealer staff on insurance products, compliance processes, and quoting systems.
Lead Generation & Conversion:
Work closely with dealer teams to generate qualified insurance leads and convert them into policies through follow-ups and client engagement.
Reporting & Insights:
Track and report on sales activities, dealer performance, and market trends. Provide feedback for continuous improvement of sales strategies and product offerings
Compliance & Quality Assurance:
Ensure that all sales activities are conducted in line with regulatory requirements, Treating Customers Fairly (TCF) principles, and company standards.
Requirements
Education:
Matric (required)
Relevant diploma or degree in Sales, Marketing, or Insurance (preferred) Regulatory Exam (RE5) and FAIS credits (beneficial)
Experience:
2 - 5 years' experience in insurance sales or a similar role Experience working with motor dealerships or in the automotive finance/insurance space is a strong advantage
