Salesworx is proud to partner with the exclusive distributor of the world's leading industrial laundry equipment manufacturer. We are looking for a dynamic, results-driven Sales Representative to join their team and drive equipment sales in the Gauteng region.
A strong sales background is essential. The ideal candidate is eager to learn, coachable, and a natural networker. Potential clients include student residences, hostels, hospitality businesses, food manufacturers, mines, and any organization with on-site laundry operations.
Responsibilities
Responsible for all equipment sales in their area.
Attend to all website enquiries and quoting on potential new business.
Prospecting and developing new business.
Identifying and calculating the correct equipment for our customers.
Pre-installation and post installation site inspections.
Preparing laundry layouts.
Area visits on a regular basis to visit key clients and potential new clients.
Weekly activity updates and monthly quote updates with the Sales Manager.
Daily Salesforce (CRM) updates.
Requirements
Proven experience in sales, preferably in the equipment, industrial, or construction sectors.
An understanding of general plumbing and electrical.
A strong track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
Previous experience in B2B sales and relationship management.
Basic understanding of the products being sold, which may include heavy machinery, equipment, and related tools.
Familiarity with the technical aspects of the equipment, such as plumbing, electrical, or mechanical knowledge, is often beneficial.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills to present products effectively and interact with clients.
A minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent, with preference for candidates who have a relevant tertiary qualification in sales, marketing, or a technical field
Benefits
Basic Salary: R20,000 per month
Commission: 3% of sales done
