Job Summary
The Front Desk Officer/Receptionist serves as the first point of contact for the school, ensuring a warm, professional, and efficient experience for children, parents, and visitors.
The role involves managing front-desk operations, handling inquiries, and providing administrative support to facilitate smooth daily school activities.
Key Responsibilities
Greet and assist parents, students, visitors, and staff in a professional and courteous manner
Manage the front desk area, ensuring it remains clean, organized, and presentable at all times
Answer, screen, and direct incoming phone calls and emails promptly
Handle inquiries and provide accurate information about the school's services and operations
Maintain visitor logs and ensure compliance with security and safeguarding protocols
Provide administrative support, including data entry, filing, and documentation
Assist with scheduling appointments and coordinating meetings where required
Support the school's leadership team with communication and general administrative tasks
Requirements
Minimum of 1 year of experience in a front desk, receptionist, or administrative role
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Good organizational and multitasking abilities
Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, Outlook)
Professional appearance and customer-service orientation
Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion
Preferred Candidate Profile:
Age: 25 - 35 years
Must reside within or close to Ikate, Lekki (or be willing to commute conveniently)
Prior experience in a school or structured environment is an added advantage.
