Responsibilities
Understanding curriculum requirements and creating lesson plans and educational content that satisfy these requirements.
Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that promote critical thinking, problem-solving, and advanced mathematical reasoning.
Prepare students for external examinations such as IGCSE, WAEC, A-Level, and other relevant Mathematics competitions.
Assess, record, and report on students' academic progress, providing timely and constructive feedback.
Requirements
Bachelor's Degree in Mathematics, Further Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field.
A recognized teaching qualification (e.g., PGDE, PGCE, or equivalent).
Strong knowledge of advanced Mathematics topics and international curricula (e.g., Cambridge IGCSE, A-Level, or equivalent).
Proven track record of preparing students for external examinations with excellent results.
Excellent classroom management, communication, and organizational skills.
TRCN certification is an added advantage.
