Appointment requirements
Grade 12
At least one to two years' relevant experience
Experience in an electronic and physical security risk evaluation environment will be added advantage
A valid Code B driving licence
Computer literacy
No criminal record (excluding previous convictions relating to political activities in the previous dispensation), no pending criminal cases (awaiting trial) or disciplinary cases and such a person shall allow their fingerprints to be taken (at applicant's own cost)
The applicant's name should not appear on the register for sexual offenders
Must be willing to undergo a vetting process as determined by the Tshwane Metro Police Department
Primary functions
Assist with monitoring security system maintenance and physical security evaluation operations
Assist with the maintenance of electronic and physical security systems
Set standards for project and programme implementation
Ensure a safe and secure environment
Issue access codes to security systems and authorisations
Liaise with role players
Take part in project evaluation
