KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Maintain a safe and secure environment for patients, staff, and visitors.
Monitor hospital premises, entrances, and restricted areas through regular patrols.
Control access to the hospital, ensuring only authorized personnel and visitors enter designated areas.
Respond promptly to emergencies, incidents, or breaches of hospital security protocols.
Assist in managing patients who may pose a risk to themselves or others in a calm and professional manner.
Maintain accurate records of daily activities, incidents, and any unusual occurrences.
Collaborate with hospital staff to support a therapeutic and safe environment.
Any other duty as may be assigned
KEY SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES:
Excellent observational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to remain calm under pressure and handle sensitive situations professionally.
Knowledge of basic first aid is an added advantage.
Physically fit
KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (K.C.S.E) or equivalent.
Valid security training and certification (preferably from a recognized security institution in Kenya).
Experience in a healthcare or mental health facility is an added advantage.
