Security Supervisor

Responsibilities Supervise and coordinate the activities of security personnel to ensure effective coverage and protection. Develop, implement, and enforce security policies, procedures, and protocols. Conduct regular inspections and assessments of security measures and systems to identify vulnerabilities. Train security staff on operational procedures, emergency response, and customer service standards. Respond promptly to security incidents, alarms, and emergencies, providing appropriate resolution. Collaborate with law enforcement, emergency responders, and other stakeholders as necessary. Maintain detailed records of security activities, incidents, and investigations for reporting purposes. Monitor surveillance equipment and conduct patrols to deter and detect suspicious activity. Requirements High school diploma or equivalent; additional training or education in criminal justice or security management is a plus. Previous experience in security supervision or a related leadership role within the security industry. Strong knowledge of security operations, risk assessment, and emergency response protocols. Excellent leadership and team management skills with the ability to motivate and guide staff. Proficient communication and interpersonal skills for effective interaction with employees and external agencies. Ability to remain calm and make quick decisions under pressure or during emergency situations. Familiarity with security technology such as surveillance cameras, alarm systems, and access control. Valid security certification or license as required by local regulations.
