Job Overview
To take ownership of the accounting function, ensure accurate and timely month-end close, and deliver reliable financial reports to support management and operational decision-making.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and complete monthly book closures in line with internal timelines.
Prepare and review trial balance, balance sheet, profit and loss statements, and detailed management reports.
Maintain the integrity of the general ledger through accurate postings, journals, and reconciliations.
Oversee accounts payable and receivable, invoicing, and cash flow management.
Support budgeting, forecasting, cost control, and variance analysis, particularly within production operations.
Ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax regulations, and internal control procedures.
Coordinate internal and external audits and provide required financial documentation.
Collaborate with production, procurement, and management teams to improve financial efficiency and reporting accuracy.
Qualifications & Experience
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
4 - 6 years of progressive accounting experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment. Experience in plastics or industrial production is an added advantage.
Strong hands-on experience with month-end close, financial statements, and management reporting.
Proficiency in accounting software such as Sage, QuickBooks, SAP, or similar ERP systems, with intermediate to advanced Excel skills.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and reporting skills.
Ability to work independently, meet deadlines, and operate effectively in a fast-paced manufacturing setting.
