JOB PURPOSE
Sales and marketing of process equipment as well as technical support for commissioning, operating and maintenance of installed machines, repairs and spares. The role includes coaching/mentoring junior colleagues.
Position Function and Requirements:
Administration
Ensure all expenditure submissions, reports, and checklists are completed accurately and within required deadlines.
Maintain effective administrative processes that support operational efficiency and compliance.
Customer Service:
Respond promptly to client requests while providing technical support, training, and operational guidance.
Identify improvement opportunities and resolve non-compliance issues to enhance customer satisfaction and equipment performance.
Marketing
Conduct market research to identify opportunities and support business growth. Deliver client presentations and promote solutions using relevant marketing and point-of-sale materials.
Quality and Safety
Ensure adherence to QA/QC standards and all safety procedures in line with company and legislative requirements.
Support the development and maintenance of operating and maintenance documentation.
Sales
Support the achievement of quarterly and annual sales targets through client engagement and accurate reporting.
Assist with quotations, tenders, and equipment data validation to strengthen business opportunities.
Team Support
Provide guidance, coaching, and technical support to Process Engineers and colleagues. Promote knowledge sharing and collaboration to strengthen team capability.
Collaborate with R&D to conduct technical test work and evaluate results. Review and interpret reports to support product development and operational improvements.
Qualification & Requirements:
Degree in Metallurgy/Chemical/Mineral Processing/Mechanical Engineering
Sales and Marketing qualification would be an advantage
Minimum 5 years' experience in a mineral processing environment
