Key Creative Responsibilities
Concept Development: Brainstorm big, innovative ideas alongside Art Directors and the broader creative team for 360-degree campaigns.
Copywriting and Editing: Write high-converting, engaging copy for digital, social, print, broadcasting, OOH, and experimental platforms.
Brand Voice Mastery: Development, maintain, and evolve brand tone of voice guidelines for a variety of client portfolios.
Pitching & Presenting: Craft persuasive pitch decks and confidently present creative concepts to internal stakeholders and key client.
Mentorship: Review the work of junior writers and interns, providing constructive feedback to foster their creative growth.
Collaboration: Work closely with Account Managers, Strategist, and Designers to ensure all messaging aligns with client KPIs and strategic objectives.
Requirments
Experience: 5+ years of copywriting experience within a recognised advertising or creative agency.
Awards: We are looking for a Senior Copywriter with a list of awards both locally and internationally to their with proven case studies.
Portfolio: A stellar portfolio showcasing conceptual thinking, big brand campaigns, and diverse long and short form copy.
Strategic Thinking: Ability to dissect marketing briefs and extract the core insight to drive creative messaging.
Cultural Fluency: A deep understanding of the local South Africa market, consumer behavior, and emerging cultural trends.
Communication: Flawless written English and exceptional verbal presentation skills (multilingualism is a major plus in the local market).
