Job Summary
The Senior Programme Manager will be the operational backbone of the CADY initiative, turning strategic intent into structured, accountable, and measurable programme delivery. This individual will manage stakeholder relationships, coordinate the Technical Working Committee, oversee facility development timelines, manage budgets, and ensure all programme commitments to Yabatech, partners, and Alára leadership are met with excellence.
Key Responsibilities
Lead end-to-end project planning, execution, and monitoring across all CADY workstreams.
Coordinate facility remediation projects at Yabatech, tracking contractor timelines, budgets, and outcomes.
Manage the procurement and deployment of equipment across the Drawing, Painting, Textile, Graphics, Ceramics, and Fashion departments.
Build and manage a CADY activity calendar, ensuring milestones align with academic calendars and Alara's operational rhythm.
Act as the primary point of contact between Alára, Yabatech administration, and Technical Working Committee members.
Manage external partner relationships, including sponsors, donors, and government agencies.
Develop and manage the CADY programme budget with full accountability and track expenditure against allocated funds.
Produce high-quality programme reports, maintain programme documentation, and draft external communications on behalf of the CADY initiative.
Skills and Qualifications
A minimum of 5 years' experience in programme or project management, ideally in education, culture, or development sectors.
A track record of managing multi-stakeholder initiatives with government or institutional partners.
Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to produce executive-level documents independently.
Demonstrated experience managing budgets and reporting on financial performance.
High proficiency in Asana, Notion (or equivalent project management tools), and Microsoft Office Suite.
Understanding of the Nigerian tertiary education landscape, particularly arts and vocational training.
It will be an added advantage if you have
Experience working within cultural institutions, creative industries, or CSR/social impact programmes.
Familiarity with Yabatech or other Lagos-based polytechnics.
PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent project management certification.
