We are currently looking to engage a highly competent and result-oriented Senior Specialist, Marketing and Sales with strong personal & professional integrity to join our dynamic team.
Responsibilities
The Senior Specialist, Marketing and Sales (Postgraduate) will be responsible for driving enrolment growth across all postgraduate programs by developing and executing integrated marketing strategies. He/she will focus on building awareness, generating quality leads, nurturing corporate and institutional partnerships, and ensuring strong collaboration with academic faculties to position Nile University as a leading provider of postgraduate education.
He/she is expected to;
Develop and execute a Lagos-specific go-to-market strategy for Nile University specifically Nile Digital Education, Business School programs and short courses. The marketing strategy must enhance program visibility, attract target audiences, and support enrolment objectives in Lagos.
Translate business target into actionable marketing and sales plans with clear funnel metrics
Continuously refine strategy based on performance data and market feedback.
Conduct competitor analysis across business schools, executive education providers, and online platforms in Lagos.
Track market trends and customer behavior to inform campaign optimization
Provide regular reports on market performance and strategic recommendations
Lead the design and execution of integrated campaigns combining digital, PR, grassroots, and event-based initiatives to maximize reach and engagement.
Identify and engage corporate organizations for executive education, group enrolments, and partnerships
Drive initiatives that generate high-quality leads, ensuring effective follow-up, engagement, and nurturing until conversion.
Collaborate with the call centre and admissions teams to strengthen the applicant journey and improve lead-to-enrolment ratios.
Use CRM systems to monitor lead pipelines, track performance, and recommend enhancements to boost conversion rates.
Support the establishment and management of partnerships with corporates, professional associations, and government bodies to secure bulk enrolments.
Plan and execute high-impact events including info sessions, masterclasses, corporate presentations, and networking events
Collaborate with alumni networks to leverage testimonials, case studies, and mentoring initiatives that enhance brand trust.
Track performance of marketing campaigns, lead funnels, and postgraduate enrolment initiatives to evaluate effectiveness.
Work closely with academic faculties to showcase program content, faculty expertise, and research strengths in marketing campaigns.
Partner with other units within the marketing department to ensure 360-degree coverage of postgraduate campaigns.
Respond to enquiries with professionalism, ensuring prospects receive accurate information and timely follow-up.
Provide guidance to potential candidates through personalized communication, addressing concerns and influencing their enrolment decisions.
Qualification & Experience
A Bachelor's degree in in Marketing, Communications, Business Administration, or related field
Relevant certifications or postgraduate qualifications are an added advantage.
Minimum of 4 - 7 years of relevant experience in Marketing, Sales and Business Development.
Demonstrated success in similar roles within a tertiary institution or comparable environment.
