We are currently looking to engage a highly competent and result-oriented Specialist, Marketing and Sales (Lagos) with strong personal & professional integrity to join our dynamic team.
Responsibilities
The Specialist, Marketing and Sales will support the execution of marketing and recruitment activities in Lagos, focusing on lead generation, engagement, and conversion across multiple touchpoints. He/she will focus on designing and implementing initiatives that engage prospective students via organizational presentations, grassroots campaigns, professional associations, digital channels, and thought leadership events.
He/she is expected to;
Develop, plan, and implement comprehensive awareness campaigns designed to position Nile University's Digital Education particularly the Business School, Executive Programs and Short courses across grassroots, corporate, and professional channels. Ensure campaigns are consistent with institutional messaging and resonate with diverse target audiences.
Proactively secure presentations with organizations, associations, and networks, showcasing opportunities and highlighting the university as a premier destination for advanced education.
Organize, host, and manage information sessions, webinars, masterclasses, and thought leadership events that demonstrate program strengths, create engagement, and influence decision-making among potential candidates.
Identify and activate experiential marketing opportunities in high-traffic community spaces such as malls, recreational centres, and cultural hubs, ensuring visibility to untapped segments.
Monitor and analyze the quality of leads generated, track their progress through the admissions funnel, and identify opportunities for improved conversion rates.
Build and maintain a structured CRM pipeline of prospective students, ensuring continuous follow-up, personalized engagement, and a seamless transition from interest to enrolment.
Introduce and pilot innovative awareness initiatives across grassroots and unconventional channels, ensuring the university stays ahead of the competition in postgraduate marketing.
Conduct periodic audits to assess the effectiveness of different enrolment sources and awareness channels, identifying high-yield and low-performing areas.
Develop strategies and introduce new initiatives based on data insights, ensuring resources are allocated effectively and marketing ROI is optimized.
Prepare timely, detailed reports on awareness campaigns, events, leads generated, and conversion outcomes, ensuring management has a clear view of performance.
Provide data-driven recommendations and strategic insights that help refine awareness and lead generation strategies to achieve greater efficiency.
Partner with all other units in the marketing department to deliver 360-degree campaigns that combine awareness-building with digital, PR, and direct marketing.
Respond to all enquiries related to enrolments with accuracy, timeliness, and professionalism, ensuring prospects receive the right information and support.
Qualification & Experience
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Mass Communication, or a related field. A Master's degree is an added advantage.
Minimum of 3 - 5 years of relevant experience in Marketing, Sales and Business Development.
Demonstrated success in similar roles within a tertiary institution or comparable environment.
Strong written, verbal, and presentation abilities to engage senior executives and diverse stakeholders
