MINIMUM QUALIFICATION AND DESIRED EXPERIENCE:
MatricCertificate (Grade 12), B-Tech in Civil Engineering, 3-5years relevant experience in project management on infrastructure projects (Roads, Stormwater, Water, Sanitation, etc.), Management experience would be an added advantage.
KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS:
Coordinate and implement infrastructure J)rojects funded through MIG, WSIG, INEP, OTP and other municipal capital programmes. Facilitate MIG project registration and reporting on MIG MIS (from MIG 1 stage) and ensure accurate capturing of project information. Capture and submit monthly financial and non - financial performance reports on the MIG MIS system in compliance with DoRA requirements.
Manage contracts and construction activities to ensure projects are delivered within approved scope, budget and timeframe. Monitor expenditure against approved cash flows ensure compliance with grant conditions, MFMA and municipal policies. Prepare technical progress reports and support audit processes. Ensure quality control, adherence to engineering standards, and compliance with Occupational Health and Safety requirements. Manage project close out'. commissioning and proper asset handover.
