Key Responsibilities


Provide technical consulting and investigating services.
Provide and integrate engineering solutions or designs for asset creation.
Develop and approve discipline specific philosophies, technical standards, procedures, work practices and specifications.
Manage and conduct product, equipment, material, service and change impact evaluations.
Provide input into discipline specific technology vision strategy and direction setting.
Conduct discipline specific technology research.
Participate in national and international technical forums.
Provide professional technical leadership.
Provide production support.


Minimum requirements

Qualification(s):


B Tech/National Higher Diploma/ Advanced Diploma in Electrical Engineering at NQF7 with 360 credits


Related Minimum Experience:


4 years related experience in engineering planning and design, design integration and engineering management in relevant technologies for power stations, electrical network.

ECSA Professional Technologist
