Applicants must be in possession of a:
Grade 12
Accredited academic qualification- in town -and regional planning (B-degree) At least 5 years' relevant town planning experience
Computer literacy (MS Office)
Valid code B driver's license
Good communication and interpersonal skills
Strategic planning skills
Good communication skills in two of the three official languages of the Western Cape.
Duties will entail:
Town planning functions- Land use management
Facilitating and managing the processing of land use applications and appeals in a Town planning office
Management of subordinates
Municipal Human Settlement projects
Administrative assistance
Land use planning and By-law contraventions
