Minimum Requirements:
Grade 12
Basic Traffic Officer training qualification (Traffic Diploma)
Good Public Relations
Valid Code B Driving licence
No criminal record
Firearm proficiency
Good communication in at least two of the three official languages
Good interpersonal skills
Must be able to work under pressure and stressful conditions
2- 5 years relevant experience
Grade B examiner of driving license will be advantageous.
Duties will entail:
Enforce Road Traffic Act, Act 93/96
Enforce Municipal By-Laws
Enforce
National Land Transport Act, Act 5/2009
Educate Scholars
Regulate and Control Traffic
Attend and give evidence in court
Attend accident scenes
Perform escort duties.
