Our automotive service department is seeking a skilled and customer-focused Service Advisor to join our team. The Service Advisor plays a vital role in ensuring customers receive high-quality service and repairs on their vehicles.
This individual will be responsible for greeting customers, assessing their service needs, scheduling appointments, and providing accurate estimates for repairs. The Service Advisor will also communicate with technicians to ensure timely completion of work and keep customers informed throughout the process.
Responsibilities:
Greet customers and listen to their concerns regarding their vehicle
Conduct thorough inspections of vehicles to accurately diagnose issues and recommend repairs
Provide clear and detailed estimates for repairs and services
Schedule appointments and ensure efficient workflow in the service department
Communicate with technicians to coordinate repairs and ensure timely completion
Keep customers informed of the status of their vehicle and any changes to the estimate
Follow up with customers after service to ensure satisfaction and address any concerns
Qualifications:
Previous experience in a service advisor role in an automotive service department
Strong communication and customer service skills
Knowledge of automotive systems and repairs
Ability to accurately diagnose vehicle issues and recommend appropriate repairs
Proficient in using computerized systems for scheduling and invoicing
Detail-oriented and able to multitask in a fast-paced environment
Valid driver's license
