The Role
You will be on the ground, installing, configuring, and activating ipNX customer services (Voice, Data & Video) across fiber and wireless networks. This is a hands-on field engineering role where your work directly determines how customers experience ipNX from Day 1.
What You Will Do
Execute end-to-end service provisioning and on-site installation of CPEs (routers, switches, IP phones, ONTs)
Conduct last-mile troubleshooting and ensure services meet quality and performance standards
Liaise with the NOC, Infrastructure, and Customer Care teams for seamless service delivery
Update installation records accurately in CRM/ERP/OSS systems
Mentor and guide a small team of interns in the field
You Are the Right Fit If You Have:
BSc/Hnd in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related IT discipline (minimum 2.1)
1 - 2 years of hands-on experience in telecoms, ISP, or ICT service delivery
Solid understanding of IP networking — LAN/WAN, TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS
Practical experience configuring routers, switches, and network connectivity devices
Familiarity with fiber optic and wireless access technologies
Knowledge of troubleshooting tools — ping, traceroute, OTDR, cable testers
Bonus: Cisco certification | NYSC/internship experience in an ISP or telecoms environment

You have no hands-on networking or field installation experience
You are not comfortable working in the field, including occasional weekends
You cannot configure basic router/switch settings independently
