Minimum Requirements:
Grade 12 or Equivalent
Completed 2nd Year of National Diploma in Fire Technology/(SAESI/IFE) Diploma in Fire Technology
Fire Fighter 1 with Hazmat Awareness
Fire Fighter 2 with Hazmat Operations
Code C Drivers license with valid PrDP
Emergency Services Pump Driver / Operator
Emergency Services Driver Operator Aerial Apparatus
BLS registration (as defined by HPCSA) with HPCSA
Fire Fighter Instructor 1
4 years' experience as Fire Fighter
Core Responsibilities:
Perform station duties and manage station activities on shift level
Maintain Operational Readiness
Ensure effective and efficient service delivery and compliance with relevant statutory requirements
Respond immediately and safely to emergency incidents on scene activities
Adhere to Governance and Financial Processes in term of legislations, policies and procedures
Adhere to governance and risk management in terms of legislations, policies and procedures.
Customer Service Orientation by caring for other person's life and/or assets without favour or prejudice.
Ensure effective and efficient service delivery by promoting fair labour practise in compliance with the statutory requirements.
