To support milling operations by assisting with housekeeping, sampling, maintenance support, bin crew activities, sieve making, and general production duties to ensure safe, efficient, and hygienic plant operations.
Sampling & Quality Control
Sample wheat and flour according to approved procedures
Label and submit samples for laboratory testing
Ensure traceability of samples
Report infestation, leakages, contamination, or abnormal smells
Housekeeping & Cleaning
Maintain a clean and safe working environment
Perform housekeeping inspections and checklist activities
Clean plant equipment and machinery
Support food safety and hygiene standards
Production Support
Pick up and mix back chokes
Assist with sieve making
Support daily milling operations
Assist during production shutdowns and changeovers
Maintenance Assistance
Assist maintenance and production teams when required
Help identify equipment faults or abnormalities
Support autonomous maintenance activities
Bin Crew & Operational Relief
Provide relief for bin crew when required
Assist with bin dipping and stock monitoring
Support material handling and intake activities
Shift Work
Work rotating shifts, weekends, public holidays, and overtime as required by production demands
Minimum Requirement
Grade 12 / Matric
Code B
Experience
Minimum 1 year operational or manufacturing experience preferred
Milling or food manufacturing experience advantageous
