Duties/Pligte
Transporting staff and students from the peripheral areas on campus to central campus daily as per schedule.
Completing daily trip records and relevant administrative tasks.
Ensuring full compliance with traffic laws, University policies and safety procedures.
Maintaining vehicle safety, cleanliness and roadworthiness, including routine inspections and reporting of defects.
Enforcing passenger safety and responding appropriately to emergencies/incidents.
Acting as a key link between drivers and management, ensuring effective communication.
Coordinating driver schedules, leave and route coverage to ensure uninterrupted service.
Assisting with performance feedback, meetings and operational improvements.
Handling passenger queries and concerns appropriately and escalating where necessary.
Promoting a positive and safe shuttle environment.
Assisting with ad hoc/operational tasks (e.g. vehicle transport, parking office support, and basic office duties where required).
Job Requirements/Pos Vereistes
Matric Certificate.
Proven three years' experience as a professional vehicle driver.
A valid driver's licence and professional driving permit (PDP).
Strong interpersonal and the ability to effectively handle confict.
The ability to work within a team, communicate effectively and apply sound problem-solving skills.
Recommendation/Aanbeveling
Supervisory experience or equivelant would be advantageous
