Job Summary
We areseeking a competent and detail-oriented Site Engineer with a minimum of five (5) years of relevant experience in construction project execution.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing on-site activities, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and in compliance with quality and safety standards.
Experience in high-rise building construction is highly desirable and will be given strong preference.*
Key Responsibilities
Supervise and manage day-to-day construction activities on site
Interpret and execute engineering drawings, designs, and specifications
Coordinate with project managers, consultants, subcontractors, and suppliers
Ensure adherence to health, safety, and environmental regulations on site
Monitor project progress and prepare regular site reports
Conduct site inspections and resolve technical issues as they arise
Ensure quality control standards are maintained throughout project execution
Manage materials, labor, and equipment efficiently
Assist in project planning, scheduling, and cost control
Requirements and Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Building Technology, or a related field
Minimum of 5 years proven experience as a Site Engineer in construction projects
Demonstrable experience working on high-rise building projects is most desirable*
Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and regulations
Proficiency in engineering and project management software (e.g., AutoCAD, MS Project)
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
Strong leadership and communication abilities
Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
Professional certification (e.g., COREN membership) is an added advantage.
