What we're looking for:


The primary purpose of the Site Finance Lead is to ensure accurate financial reporting and sound financial control at site level. This position oversees key financial processes such as inventory management, asset verification, payroll submissions, and adherence to company policies and procedures. The Site Finance Lead is responsible for maintaining control accounts, supporting cost control initiatives, and facilitating month-end closure activities to ensure completeness and accuracy of financial records. Collaboration with operations, HR, and distribution teams is essential to provide timely financial insights and support business objectives.


Accountabilities

Order to Cash Management


Oversee driver shorts and conduct weekly/monthly meetings.
Manage credit notes, including obtaining approvals and releasing them on SAP.
Perform weekly and monthly reconciliations and feedback for IDC.
Manage freight order settlements and monthly journal clearing.
Verify IDC commission calculations and assist with IDC contract renewals.


Financial Management


Responsible for all site finance activities relating to month end closure
Preparation of monthly financial forecast, updated on a weekly basis
Support site Functional leads with Productivity ideation and delivery
Review and release purchase orders; follow up on outstanding PO processes.
Review and monitor operating costs on a weekly and monthly basis.
Update and assist with sales and production reports, including key metrics like yields and cost per loaf.
Maintain daily and monthly scorecards and financial reports, providing feedback to the HOD team.


Stock Management


Monitor flour stock differences and confirm with silo reconciliations.
Conduct weekly and monthly stock counts and post differences.
Monitor process orders and damage order settlements on a weekly basis


Payroll Management


Monitor overtime and report on approvals/corrections.
Submit manual payroll inputs and calculate driver commissions.
Control TES processes, including reporting, requisitions, approvals, and reconciliations.


Governance


Ensure adherence to standard operating procedures aligned to Enterprise Control requirements
Ensure execution of weekly/monthly enterprise controls


Qualifications
What will qualify you for the role:


Financial Accounting Qualification (B.Com or equivalent)
3 - 5 years finance management experience (Retail or FMCG exposure advantageous)
Good communication skills (written, verbal, presentation)
Attention to detail with a problem solving mindset
Ability to self-manage in a complex and matrix environment
Computer literate i.e. advanced Excel, SAP, MS Power Apps
