ROLE OVERVIEW
The Social Media & Content Intern will support the company's digital presence by assisting with content creation, social media management, audience engagement, and brand visibility. This role is ideal for a creative and organized individual looking to gain hands-on experience in content marketing within the interior design industry.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Assist in creating and scheduling content across social media platforms
Support day-to-day management of Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, and other digital channels
Capture behind-the-scenes content from projects, installations, and company activities
Assist with content ideas, captions, trends, and campaign execution
Monitor engagement and respond to comments and messages where required
Research social media trends, competitors, and industry content opportunities
Help maintain consistency in brand tone, aesthetics, and messaging
Documentation & Reporting:
Maintain content calendars and posting schedules
Track content performance and engagement metrics
Assist in preparing weekly or monthly social media reports
Organize digital assets including photos, videos, and design files
Keep records of campaign activities, collaborations, and content performance insights
Stakeholder Management:
Engage professionally with online audiences and community.
Support communication with content creators, vendors, and collaborators where required
Assist in managing relationships with influencers or partner pages for collaborations
Escalate sensitive customer inquiries or brand issues to management
Collaboration & Communication:
Work closely with the marketing, design, and project teams to gather content
Collaborate with photographers, videographers, and creatives during shoots
Communicate content needs and deadlines clearly across teams
Support coordination between on-site project activities and digital coverage
Team Leadership and Development:
Lead and manage the marketing team (digital, content, social)
Recruit, train, and mentor team members
Set clear KPIs and performance expectations
Build a high-performing, accountable marketing team
Experience & Qualifications:
Completed a degree in Marketing, Mass Communication, Media, or related field
Basic understanding of social media platforms and content creation
Familiarity with Canva, CapCut, Adobe Express, or similar tools is an advantage
Previous internship or personal content creation experience is a plus
