Job Summary
We are seeking a Solar Technical Support Staff member who will provide technical assistance to the sales team and customers while helping to drive solar energy product sales and project execution.
Responsibilities
Provide technical support for solar power systems, inverters, batteries, stabilisers, and related equipment.
Assist the sales team with product selection, system sizing, and solution design.
Conduct site assessments and energy audits for prospective clients.
Technical documentation for solar projects.
Explain product specifications, system performance, and installation requirements to customers.
Support clients during pre-sales and after-sales processes.
Troubleshoot basic technical issues related to solar installations and equipment.
Coordinate with engineers and installers during project execution.
Monitor project timelines and ensure customer satisfaction.
Follow up on leads and maintain relationships with existing clients.
Train customers on proper system usage and maintenance.
Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and technical reports.
Stay updated on solar industry trends, products, and renewable energy technologies.
Assist in achieving company sales targets and business growth objectives.
Prepare load analysis and battery backup calculations.
Demonstrate solar products to clients and partners.
Support commissioning and testing of installed systems.
Participate in exhibitions, marketing campaigns, and client presentations.
Provide warranty and maintenance support coordination.
Requirements
Knowledge of solar PV systems, inverters, batteries, and electrical systems.
Strong communication and customer relationship skills.
Ability to read electrical diagrams and technical specifications.
Problem-solving and troubleshooting ability.
Sales and negotiation skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and solar design tools.
