Basic job summary:
The Job holder will be responsible for ensuring that all training materials and ingredients are delivered to the training units and cleanliness, and hygiene is maintained all through the kitchen and the stores.
Duties & Responsibilities:
Clean and sanitize food storage areas, dish washing machine, tables and counters as required.
Clean the floor and maintain high standards of hygiene throughout the day.
Ensure all the trays, cutlery, crockery, hollowware and utensils are well cleaned, polished and arranged, and supplied to the cafeteria as needed.
Maintain clear records of daily stock take by counting and recording all cutlery and crockery. Report all discrepancies and breakages to the supervisor.
Prepare and display hot beverages, for the catering and housekeeping staff.
Clean and refill the fridges with cold beverages as needed by clients.
Maintain high level of communication within the department sections for seamless customer service and satisfaction
Perform additional duties as requested by the supervisor.
Minimum Academic Qualifications:
Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education
At least 2 years in banqueting services in a dynamic environment
