Job Summary
We are looking for a reliable, organized, and detail-oriented Store Clerk to assist with the daily management of stock and store operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for receiving, recording, storing, issuing, and monitoring inventory while ensuring accurate stock records are maintained.
Key Responsibilities
Receive and inspect incoming goods and supplies.
Verify deliveries against purchase orders, delivery notes, and invoices.
Arrange and properly store goods in designated areas.
Issue stock to authorized departments or staff as required.
Maintain accurate stock records and inventory documentation.
Conduct regular stock counts and report discrepancies.
Monitor stock levels and notify the supervisor when replenishment is required.
Ensure proper labeling and organization of items in the store.
Maintain cleanliness, order, and safety within the store.
Assist with stock-taking and inventory reconciliation.
Prepare stock movement and inventory reports when required.
Ensure proper handling and storage of goods to minimize damage or loss.
Maintain proper filing of store documents.
Follow company procedures for stock control, security, and authorization.
Perform any other store-related duties assigned by the supervisor.
Requirements
Diploma or Certificate in Storekeeping, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field.
Previous experience as a Store Clerk, Storekeeper, or in a similar position is an added advantage.
Good knowledge of stock control and inventory management.
Basic computer skills, especially Microsoft Excel.
Good numerical and record-keeping skills.
Strong attention to detail.
Honest, reliable, and organized.
Good communication and teamwork skills.
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
