Job Responsibilities
Teach Physics, Basic Technology, and Geography to junior and/or senior secondary school students
Prepare lesson plans in line with the Nigerian national curriculum (WAEC, NECO, and BECE standards)
Deliver engaging and practical lessons that enhance students' understanding
Conduct assessments, tests, and examinations and maintain accurate student records
Prepare students for internal and external examinations
Utilize instructional materials, laboratory equipment, and ICT tools effectively
Maintain discipline and a positive learning environment in the classroom
Participate in staff meetings, school programs, and professional development activities
Perform other academic duties assigned by the school management.
Requirements & Qualifications
Minimum of B.Sc., B.Ed., or B.Tech in Physics, Geography, Engineering, Education, or related fields
TRCN certification is an added advantage
1 - 2 years of teaching experience in a secondary school
Good knowledge of the Nigerian secondary school curriculum
Strong communication, classroom management, and interpersonal skills
Ability to teach practical and technical aspects of Basic Technology and Physics
Basic computer literacy (MS Word, PowerPoint, MS Excel etc).
