Requirements
Trade Test (Diesel Mechanic or Auto Electrician)
5 Years or more post apprenticeship experience within a heavy-duty truck environment (preferably hydraulics and pneumatics)
Supervisory experience.
Knowledge of tyres and specific related processes within EAM.
Tyre waste management regulation (advantageous)
Understanding tenders and procurement processes related to spares and tyres
Knowledge of the Occupational Health & Safety Act.
Computer Literacy (MS Office and SAP).
Valid driver's Licence.
Key Performance Areas
Co-ordinates and controls the mechanical repairs and maintenance within a workshop environment
Monitoring and implementing procedures
Establishing resource requirements
Attending to specific administrative and information reporting requirements and processes
Ensuring vehicle compliance to the Road Traffic Act where applicable.
Planning, prioritising, scheduling and implementing vehicle services and maintenance programs.
Co-ordinates and controls tasks, activities associated with personnel performance, productivity and discipline.
Enforcing compliance regarding Health and Safety requirements and investigation of incidents.
Maintaining applicable safety standards and records within Technical Services workshop as prescribed by the OHS ACT
