Supervisor (Mine) Shift at Glencore

In this role you will be responsible for:


The incumbent will report to the Mine Overseer and will be responsible for production targets
Compliance with the company's HSEC system is essential
Supporting the achievement of production performance
Ensuring implementation of management decision, legal requirements
Responsible for his/her own safety and the safety of his/her crew
Compliance of mine standards and procedures


About you:


Grade 12
Blasting certificate for scheduled mines
Shift Supervisor Certificate of competence will be advantageous
At least 3 (three) years' experience as a Miner
At least 5 (five) years' experience in a board and pillar, trackless mining environment
Accurate and timeous completion of tasks (Results Driven)
Operational Problem Solving and decision making
Good communication skills
