Job Summary

This is a hands-on, individual contributor role responsible for driving the development and execution of Sunbeth's sustainability and ESG reporting strategy in line with applicable local and international frameworks. The successful candidate will report directly to the Sustainability Manager and take ownership of first-draft reporting, financier and stakeholder engagement on ESG matters, performance tracking against relevant sustainability benchmarks, and data governance across the sustainability function, including oversight of reporting for new product lines such as orange cocoa.

Job Details


Lead the development and delivery of Sunbeth's sustainability and ESG reporting suite, including IFRS S1/S2, GRI, and SASB FB-AG disclosures, in line with relevant regulatory requirements and global best practice.
Own sustainability reporting for new initiatives, including our recently launched Orange Cocoa, from data collection through to draft disclosure.
Track and manage Sunbeth's ESG performance over time, identifying gaps against relevant standards and benchmarks and proposing corrective actions.
Serve as the primary point of contact for ESG-related queries and information requests from financiers, investors, development partners, and other stakeholders, ensuring accurate and timely responses.
Provide sustainability and E&S input to other functions across the business as ESG considerations intersect with their work.
Own data governance for sustainability reporting, including data ownership, quality assurance, and consistency across data sources and platforms.
Coordinate with internal teams to source and verify reporting data.
Prepare periodic sustainability updates for management and relevant stakeholders as required.


Requirements


At least 5 years of experience in sustainability reporting, ESG, or environmental and social performance management.
Demonstrated interest and passion for sustainability.
Working knowledge of GRI, SASB, IFRS S1/S2 standards.
Experience managing ESG-related queries or information requests from investors, financiers, or development partners is an advantage.
Understanding of data governance principles as applied to sustainability or ESG data.
Strong written communication skills, capable of producing polished first drafts with minimal rework.
