The Synchrolift Support Hand is responsible for assisting in dry docking and undocking evolutions using the Synchrolift system. This role requires skilled handling of lines, operating equipment, and supporting various tasks, including diving as required. Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:


Handling lines, operating the capstan, and driving the transfer tractor or other devices required during docking and undocking operations.
Preparing and participating in all aspects of dry docking/undocking evolutions to ensure efficiency and safety.
Serving as a qualified diver/swimmer and assisting with underwater tasks as required during docking operations.
Drafting and submitting a detailed Dive Plan and Safety Brief to the Government anytime dive work is part of the docking or undocking process.
Performing inspection, maintenance, and minor repairs on docking equipment and tools to ensure operational readiness.
Assisting the Synchrolift team in ensuring all tasks align with safety standards and operational protocols.
Supporting alignment and securing of vessels during docking and undocking procedures.
Coordinating with team members and supervisors to ensure successful execution of tasks.


MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS


Skilled in handling lines, operating the capstan, and driving transfer tractors or other devices used in docking operations.
Certified as a qualified diver/swimmer capable of performing underwater tasks in support of docking operations.
Understanding of dive work protocols and safety procedures, including the ability to prepare detailed Dive Plans and Safety Briefs.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Must be in possession of a valid passport and be able to travel internationally.
Passport must be valid for a minimum of one (1) year or more at the time of hiring.
Must successfully pass contract medical requirements, including diving-related physicals and certifications, and maintain requirements for the duration of deployment.
