Key responsibilities:


Assist product owners and developers in gathering and documenting business requirements.
Support the analysis, scoping, and testing of new features and system enhancements.
Help troubleshoot and resolve technical issues across systems and tools.
Collaborate with the IT and development teams to deliver new functionality within the VAT IT ecosystem.
Conduct testing and quality assurance on new features and updates.
Provide user support and training for newly deployed tools or features.
Contribute to documentation and process improvement initiatives.
Conduct data-oriented tasks including querying databases, making data updates, and working with APIs to support business operations and reporting.


Candidate requirements:

Qualifications & Experience•=


Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.


Experience & Skills


Highly analytical mindset, with the ability to assess impact at a system and business level.
Strong communication and presentation skills.
Experience writing SQL queries for data extraction, reporting, or analysis (advantageous).
Comfort working with REST APIs — reading documentation, testing endpoints, and interpreting responses (advantageous).
Practical experience using AI tools (e.g. ChatGPT, Copilot, Claude) to support analysis, drafting, or problem-solving (advantageous).
Understanding of data structures and the ability to make controlled data updates in back-end systems (advantageous).
