We are supporting a leading player in the Gas and Energy Infrastructure sector to hire a Technical Procurement Specialist to support project execution within a technically driven environment.
This role is suited for a hands-on procurement professional with strong experience supporting engineering and project teams, particularly within Oil & Gas or EPC-led projects.
Key Responsibilities
Plan and execute procurement activities for technical materials, equipment, and services required for projects
Manage RFQs, bid openings, technical and commercial evaluations, and supplier selection
Negotiate contracts, pricing, and delivery terms with vendors and service providers
Support procurement of long-lead items and bulk materials, including expediting and inspections
Work closely with engineering, project, and supply chain teams to ensure timely delivery
Maintain supplier performance reviews covering quality, cost, delivery, and service
Support project close-out activities and continuous improvement initiatives
Requirements
Minimum of 5 years' post-graduate experience in technical procurement
Background in Oil & Gas, EPC, engineering, or construction project environments
Strong experience with RFQs, bid evaluations, supplier negotiations, and contract administration
Ability to interpret engineering drawings and bills of materials
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other MS Office tools
Relevant engineering or commercial degree required
CIPS certification is an added advantage
